Coached strength and conditioning on Foundry Row
A small strength club with six people per coach at most, one-to-one if you prefer, and a plan that starts from where you are today. Your first hour is free.
Every session follows the same shape, so you always know where you are. Scroll to run the clock.
0 to 12 min
Rower or bike until you are breathing a little harder, then the joints today needs: hips, ankles, upper back. We watch how you move here and adjust the rest of the hour.
12 to 42 min
One main lift and one or two helpers, with weights written for you. Everything goes in your log, so next week we know exactly what to add.
42 to 60 min
Short intervals on the rower, bike or kettlebells. Hard but brief, scaled to you, then two easy minutes and a note on how it went.
Same coaches, same plan-on-the-board approach. Pick the room size that suits you. Prices below are sample figures.

One coach, one hour, just you. Good for getting back to lifting after an injury, training for an event, or if you would rather not train with others yet.
Bring one or two friends. You share a coach and a platform, and each of you keeps your own program.
Not sure which? Start with the free session and decide afterwards.
Sample timetable. Every class runs sixty minutes and holds six people.
Two coaches, both on the floor every day. You'll know them by name after one session.

Head coach. Barbell Club, Foundations, Strong at 50+
Rae came to lifting through rehab after a knee injury and still coaches the way she was taught back then: slow, specific and patient. If you have never held a barbell, she is who you'll meet first.

Conditioning coach. Engine, Mobility and core
Tomás writes the Engine sessions and keeps them short on purpose. His rule: finish an interval wanting one more, not lying on the floor. He also runs the Sunday open gym.
Daylight from the roof, rubber underfoot and enough room that nobody waits for a rack.
Sample quotes for this template.
I'd never touched a barbell. By week three I was deadlifting with decent form, and I've stopped dreading the stairs at work.
Strong at 50+ is the first class I've kept going past January. Nobody hurries you.
The Engine sessions are short and properly hard. I like that the log remembers what I lifted, so I don't have to.
Not at all. Most people start in Foundations, where the whole hour is about learning the squat, hinge, press and carry with light weights.
A short chat about what you want and any injuries, then the same hour everyone does: warm-up, strength, conditioning, all scaled to you. No sales pitch at the end.
No. Coming here is how you get fit. Every exercise has an easier and a harder version.
Water, clothes you can move in and flat shoes. We have towels, chalk and a lock for the lockers.
Yes, for holidays, illness or a busy month at work. Tell us a week ahead.
Tell us a little and when suits you. We reply within a working day to confirm a time.
